Setting the tone.

It’s the night before your wedding (likely in Palm Beach). You’ve thought about your dress, your first dance and what the band is going to play; the whole evening is planned out. But what about those precious few hours before everything starts? This time is often neglected. Even though it isn’t the main event, it is a vital time on your wedding day. These are the special moments alone with your close friends, sharing laughs (and a few tears) before the hustle and bustle of the main event.

As beauty professionals, usually there from the first wakeup, we have seen firsthand how important this time can be. We have put together a few tips to make sure you get the most of your wedding morning.

Set the Tone

Calm and chill? Ready to party? Taking some time to decide how you’d like to FEEL in the hours before your wedding can make sure the morning starts with intention. We have found that having a playlist that reflects your morning vibe to be very helpful at getting (and keeping) the mood right.

Have a Plan

Having everyone show up at the same time? Not recommended. Especially with weddings that start with a welcome party, it’s important to plan accordingly. Having a staggered start time OR solid beauty/photo timeline in place can really keep things running smoothly.

Communicate the Vibe

If you want to have a calm, relaxing morning with Mom instead of a techno party with all the girls, it’s important to let everyone know. Its YOUR day, everyone will respect the tone you setup, they just have to be let in on the plan.

At Wave Babe Beauty, morning planning and scheduling is included in all our Bridal Makeup and Bridal Hair packages. We loving helping Palm Beach brides create the wedding morning they deserve.
